We recommend splitting these daily guidelines into two meals. Feeding amounts are guidelines only and may vary based on activity level, health condition, life stage and temperature. It is important to maintain your dog’s ideal body condition for their long-term health. Since Solid Gold dog foods are complete and balanced, additional foods, treats and supplements may alter that balance. Be sure to offer fresh, clean water daily. We recommend your dog see the veterinarian annually.

Feed Puppies, Lactating & Gestating Females: Puppies start to nibble on solid food at 3 to 4 weeks of age. We recommend moistening dry food with warm water or Solid Gold canned food through weaning (6 to 8 weeks of age). Maintain your puppy’s ideal body condition. Appetite changes are normal with most puppies. Lactating/gestating females may need two to three times more food than shown for Adult Dogs.

Switching to Solid Gold Pet Foods: Switching to any new dog food should be a gradual transition over 7 to 10 days. Replace 25% of the current food with Solid Gold for 2 to 3 days, then feed a little more Solid Gold over the next 5 to 7 days until your dog is eating Solid Gold exclusively. This gradual transition will help reduce digestive upsets that may occur due to the change in diet.

I have an eleven year old boxer and an eight week old boxer puppy. I can’t begin to explain the peace of mind and confidence that I feel when I know that they are both eating Solid Gold. When it comes to the 11-year-old, I feel that I am giving her the best opportunity to live out the rest of her life as happy and healthy as she can possibly be. She still plays, walks 2~3 miles a day and often acts like a puppy. In regards to the puppy, Solid Gold for large breed puppies, gives her the vitamins and minerals while she is growing and totally on the go. I’m very grateful for Solid Gold.

I have a loving British staffordshire / American Pit bull terrier puppy (11 months): He’s had issues with digestion of his food. Which lead to inconsistent bowel movements and inconsistencies in the solidity of his stool. We tried some different brands such as Hill’s science, Blue Buffalo and Purina Pro Plan. After eating solid gold just ONE time (literally after his first feeding). I noticed a HUGE difference in his stool. It was a complete 180 for his gut health. SOLID GOLD IS A GAME CHANGER GUYS! I would recommend this brand to anyone looking to help there fur baby’s tummy function to the best of it’s ability.
