This Giving Tuesday, we’re excited to let you know that our friends at Warrior Canine Connection are participating in Newman's Own Foundation annual CrowdRise Holiday Challenge. This is a friendly fundraising campaign where qualified nonprofits compete to raise the most money with the top teams winning bonus matching funds.
Warrior Canine Connection has the goal to raise $50,000 by January 3, 2018. These funds will help them continue their mission of enlisting recovering Warriors in learning to train service dogs for their fellow Veterans. This powerful, purpose-driven organization truly understands the unique healing power of dogs and utilizes a Mission Based Trauma Recovery model that helps Veterans reconnect with life, their families, their communities and each other.
Plus, there’s an exciting twist this year: Newman's Own Foundation is offering $500,000 in matching dollars, including $150,000 grand prize for the top nonprofit fundraiser!
